Book 04 (still un-subtitled, but it's happening!) has unfortunately missed my original goal of being released mid-April. Due to unforseen unrelated issues it's fallen slightly behind, but I believe that it's on track for release at the end of May barring any further problems.
With the completion of Book 04, the Iyetra series will be hovering somewhere around 110k words, which puts it at the upper end of your typical fiction novel. At the onset, this was planned to be a twelve-part series aggregated into three "volumes," like your typical trilogy. When Book 04 is finished, this will be the completion of that first volume.
In the near future, probably within two to three months, Books 01 to 04 will be gathered and released as one compilation. While final pricing is still to be determined, I believe this volume will be released for approximately $5.99. Going forward, the price for every episodic book will be changed to $1.99. This means Book 01: Sleeping God will increase, while the rest will be decreased.
For the benefit of those who have purchased individual books as they were released, the first volume will include additional content only available as part of that volume. This is also to be determined, but I am leaning towards two to three additional "short stories" that together equate to a typical "book's" worth of content.
Thus, going forward, you have a choice: you can purchase each book as they're released and thus have access to it immediately, or wait until the compiled volume is put out and buy all four at a slight discount and in an aggregated form. Iyetra – Book 01: Sleeping God was released in August 2010; with Book 04 coming out at the end of May, this gives you a rough idea of when to expect the compiled volume of Books 05 – 08.
More information for Book 04 will be released in May so stay tuned! This will be the biggest part of Iyetra yet and the most exciting piece of Tela's story.
